“MEMBER” updated. In the second semester of the academic year 2025, three new graduate students joined GEL-SIT. We sincerely hope that they will continue to grow through their studies and succeed in their future endeavors. All members of GEL-SIT will work together in a fun, friendly, and mutually supportive environment as we continue our research.

We held our GEL-SIT’s traditional “Summer BBQ Party” at THE BBQ BEACH in TOYOSU! The event brought together over 40 participants with diverse backgrounds, including Japanese students, working professionals, international students from various countries around the world, and our beloved alumni. From September 8-17, 2025, we successfully conducted a 10-day Global Problem-Based Learning program “Build Tokyo Together: Creating Disaster-Resilient and Inclusive Communities Across Borders” at Shibaura Institute of Technology’s Toyosu Campus.
