We held a welcome and farewell party for Kiyotomo-san and Khin-san, who started their Ph.D. programs this semester, and Nassim-san and Marwan-san, who joined us as short-term exchange students for four months.
It was a good opportunity for all of us at GEL-SIT to share our hopes of working together with them on enjoyable research activities from now on.
On the other hand, we were able to express our gratitude to Nassim-san and Marwan-san for bringing a fresh breeze to GEL-SIT, as well as to Emircan-san who returned to his home country about half a month ago after completing his studies abroad. We also promised to continue our exchange in the future. It was a challenging experiment for us to ask the B4 students of Anzai-san and Wada-san, who had just started their research, to work practically with them during their stay in our GEL-SIT. However, they exceeded our expectations and worked well with them, becoming the most reliable students for them! It was a fulfilling four months for them and the lab members!
