We are delighted to announce that the Global PBL program has begun at Shibaura Institute of Technology’s Toyosu Campus! Through wonderful international collaboration with Kasetsart University, Asian Institute of Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, Suranaree University of Technology, Bandung Institute of Technology, and National Taiwan University, we welcomed a total of 180 students and faculty members who are passionate about civil engineering to our Toyosu Campus. The program opened with an inspiring and vibrant opening ceremony.
We look forward to seeing our students work together in their respective groups, engaging in meaningful discussions on the theme “Build Tokyo Together: Creating Disaster-Resilient and Multicultural Communities Across Borders,” while also exploring various sites and neighborhoods throughout Tokyo. We anticipate that they will create many treasured and unforgettable experiences throughout this journey.
