From Feb. 24 to Mar. 5, 2025, the Civil Engineering Global PBL will be held at the Toyosu Campus of Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT).
Civil engineering embodies the concept of “engineering for citizens” and plays different roles depending on the country, region, land, environment, and culture. This global PBL aims to exchange opinions on the roles and expectations of civil engineering in each country, and together envision its ideal image and future from a global perspective.
About 110 civil and geotechnical engineering students and faculty members from Kasetsart University (KU), Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), and Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) in Thailand and National Taiwan University (NTU) in Taiwan will participate in this global PBL. About 30 civil engineering students from SIT will also participate.
We look forward to seeing you at the Toyosu Campus if you are interested in exchanging with our SIT and overseas universities (KU, AIT, KMUTT, SUT, and NTU).
