Some students and staff of GEL-SIT visited the Soil and Rock Mechanics Laboratory (Kanto Laboratory Office) of Kiso-Jiban Consultants Co., Ltd. in Chiba. The international students were particularly interested in the well-organized laboratory where they observed experimental apparatus not available at GEL-SIT. This visit provided a valuable opportunity for the students to experience the state of the art of soil testing and allowed them to gain significant knowledge.
