The 17th GEL-SIT plenary seminar was held. This time, Ms. Khin, who joined the Ph.D. program in October, attended the seminar for the first time, along with the B3 students who were provisionally assigned to the GEL-SIT this semester. Additionally, half of the M1 students presented their progress reports. Since there were many first-time participants, the progress reports included introductions to the research outlines, and we were very impressed with their enthusiasm. Furthermore, there was a timely presentation on predicting slope failure risk using AI, which captivated the audience. The other progress reports also showcased promising results. With the addition of new members, we hope the lab will continue to become an even more vibrant and enjoyable place!
