At the beginning of the second semester, our GEL-SIT held its plenary seminar for the 2024 academic year. During the seminar, the B4 students presented their progress from the summer. It was obvious that they had been working diligently on their research projects. The graduate students assisted with the presentations and facilitated the Q&A sessions, contributing to a productive summer for everyone in the GEL-SIT.
Following the seminar, a September the GEL-SIT event doubled as a farewell party for Mr. Emircan Ozdemir, a short-term exchange student from France’s CESI – School of Engineering. Mr. Emircan had been with us for four months and brought fresh perspectives from France to our GEL-SIT, for which we are deeply grateful. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with him in the future.
