The global Project Based Learning (gPBL), a collaborative international program among Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), National Taiwan University (NTU), and the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), has officially launched at NTU for the first time. With approximately 100 participants, this marks the largest gPBL to date.
gPBL is an international education program in which students from different countries and universities collaborate on real-world engineering challenges. Over nine days, the program combines research presentations, practice sharing by industry professionals, site visits, group work, and a culture tour. Highlights of the site visits include a deep excavation project, an underground power cable tunnel, and the construction site of the Taipei Twins skyscraper — all cutting-edge projects currently underway in Taipei. The program will conclude on March 9 with final group presentations and a closing ceremony.
We look forward to seeing SIT students engage actively alongside their peers from NTU and AIT.
